Tachometer
The original electronic tachometer is not compatible with this ignition. The rev counter output voltage on pin 7 is too low and the tachometer either doesn't show the right rpm or nothing at all. A mechanical tachometer works as usual with the ZDG3 and no special care needs to be taken. One solution to get the original electronic tachometer working with the ZDG3 rev counter output is to increase the voltage of the box. We built a separate box specially for this purpose. It can be purchased separately.
