The points plate and the advancer in the distributor will be replaced by hall effect sensors and a magnetic disk. The distributor cap will remain (but without rotor arm) and the 4 spark plug wires are not used any longer and serve only as a dummy to maintain the original look. Now each pair of cylinders has its own ignition and so new coils are necessary (2 dual output coils, e.g. Dyna-Mini-2).
