Digital ignition for BMW R80/R100. Replacement for breaker points and advance unit or the first electronic ignition. Sensor (hall effect) mounting in the points distributor housing or hall sensor housing. The weights, original hall sensor or points are replaced by this kit and can be removed. Ignition box included.
For regular operation two individual ignition coils with a primary resistance between 2Ω-5Ω must be used. For dual plugged heads, two double output ignition coils with a primary resistance between 2Ω-5Ω (e.g. Dyna-Mini-2) have to be used. Note that the hall effect sensor BMWs often use coils below 2Ω which are not compatible with this kit.
This set is optimal for dual plugged heads.
